[#1] Share with us a snippet of your story.

Hi there, my name is Becky Strahle. I'm a Midwest girl at heart. I was born and raised in rural Central Illinois. I grew up in a sweet Christian home and had a very blessed childhood. Twenty two years ago I married my best friend right out of high school. We've lived in IL, MN and VA. We have two beautiful girls and a furry little creature named Fergie. Five years ago, I started a blog because I suffered from Seasonal Depression. It provided just what I needed...a much needed distraction.  It helped give me purpose and a focus, and out of that I've started two online shops. :)

[#2] What is your favorite part of the day with your little one[s]?

Well my girls aren't little anymore. My "Big chick" will be 14 soon and my "Little chick" is 10!  Geesh where does the time go? My favorite part of the day with them would be our family cuddle time. On nights we're home we usually snuggle under the blankets and watch our favorite shows together.

[#3] Name Three Instagram MOMS who inspire you.

Well narrowing it down to three seems impossible because I {heart} so many IG moms, but the three that immediately come to mind would be Sara Parsons @saraparsons...her photos are gorgeous, she loves Jesus and has chickens...need I say more! Kelly Cach @kellycach takes IG videos of her sweet girl Nora who has Down's Syndrome. She's made me fall in love with this spunky little girl. Such a good momma. Honey Holden @honeyholden keeps me from freaking out about my own girls getting older. I love watching her special ongoing relationship with her grown daughters.

[#4] What challenges have you faced in balancing motherhood and your passion for creativity?

I struggle with momma guilt a lot. I have two online shops and work from home in a basement studio. My work day doesn't end the second they walk in from school. My challenge is to stop what I'm doing, make them feel special and listened to and then go back to my work for a bit. That lack of separation makes the transition back to mommy hard sometimes. I want my girls to always know that they trump work.

[#5] What is a family tradition that you love sharing with your kids?

We have a lot of yearly traditions. Our donut run on Christmas Day in our jammies is probably my favorite. We never eat donuts, so it's really special. Church on Sundays is another weekly thing we do. They sit with us and experience worship and hear the word. Looking over and watching them worship...eyes closed and hands raised makes my heart swell. And we always take a family vacation. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything in the world. A getaway, whether it's a stay-cation or far away trip, is priceless!

[#6] If you could give us a peek inside your home - what image would you share and why?

Home is where we are all together. Whether it's at the kitchen table, around the piano, or in the dining room for game night etc... I just love the "home" my peeps provide.  And usually Fergie is right there with us. She makes us feel so loved. Can't imagine life without her too.

[#7] Share a photo you wouldn't typically post on Instagram but depicts real life happenings.

I actually shared this one and then immediately felt over exposed. Such is the life of a blogger/IGer. I kind of have a food hoarding thing going on. This is us cleaning out the pantry.  What a mess! Gotta say though sharing it made me feel a little more accountable and my pantry to this day is still pretty organized. ;)

Wait I have one more... This was the "I done lost my mind and need to flip the fitness switch" post. Being real and vulnerable, although terrifying, definitely is worth the risk. I started another IG page just for fitness @farmgirlfitness. It's my free social media version of weight watchers.  Nothing keeps you more focused than a public journey...
